Blue Flags once again flying over Vodice beaches: a symbol of safety and quality

For more than a decade, the municipal company Leć from Vodice has been employing lifeguards and implementing the Blue Flag programme — a prestigious international eco-label that promotes environmental care of the sea and coastline and is globally recognised as a mark of beach quality and safety.

With today's official start of lifeguard services, all requirements have been met for raising the Blue Flags on two city beaches: in Srima and at the Blue Beach in Vodice. This makes Vodice the only tourist destination in the Šibenik-Knin County with two beaches proudly flying the Blue Flag.

These flags are not only a sign of environmental responsibility but also a crucial guide for tourists choosing where to spend their summer holidays. The Blue Flag ensures safety, cleanliness, and comfort — the foundations of a quality vacation on the Adriatic.
